It's a new year and for this one, I'm determined to develop a few new techniques, both in-camera and in post production to add even more diversity to my work. There's not much more to it it then that, so I'll keep this as short as that. For now, I've been experimenting with ways to infuse images with deep, vibrant colours. Read more...As I've talked about before, I've been doing everything I can to work within the magical realm of film photography, at least with my personal projects. Now, I tend to have things very well defined when it comes to my personal tastes, but these experiments in the camera and in the darkroom highlighted something rather unexpected. With the digital medium, as my own work is concerned, I strive for perfection; every time. Whether I achieve it or not is a whole different discussion, but nevertheless that is my aim. To me, there just seems to be something contrived and false...
